A little bit about me!

The creative adult is the child who survived!

With freshly finished design courses, I started work at a small agency with our biggest client being Dischem. This is where I learned how to put knowledge to the test & what it was like designing on tight deadlines, working late hours & being involved in all aspects of a business.

Later I was poached by a sister-company who was looking for a full-time designer to join them in-house. For 6 years I was solely responsible for running their whole marketing, design and web maintenance department, and also took on the role of Technical Manager and running a team of technicians. I also took on the responsibility of the Faulty Returns Manager and the smooth running and organisation of these 3 departments.

I left after 6 years to pursue a career as a Wedding Planner, having finished a course in Advanced Wedding Planning and to reconnect with my creative juices I felt were being neglected after 6 years with one company. I grew a very successful business and also started a second company focussing mainly on wedding stationery design. I’ve won multiple awards with my business, mentored interns, worked at 5* venues and managed teams of my own staff.

I would now, however, like to join a creative environment full time where I can grow and develop. I am excited for a new chapter to start and believe in always giving 100% in everything..... except when donating blood - I never give 100% when donating blood!
